Based on the vision of Alain Girard, former president and owner of Cogirès, our approach is founded on the belief that culture is the foundation upon which the economy, social responsibility, and environmental protection are built.
Driven by a deep attachment to the French-speaking world, Alain Girard created the Francoresponsable and Éco Franco Responsable brands in 2009 to promote the French language and integrate it into sustainable practices.
Today, we continue this mission through a positioning where culture and sustainable development come together to shape a future that is both respectful and inspiring.

Eco Franco Responsability: Our commitment to welcome you, keeping sustainable development, the French language and Francophone culture, in all their forms, at heart and in mind.
To implement Eco Franco Responsibility, we adopt the principle of acting “as much as possible” aiming to exploit all relevant opportunities in terms of frequency (as often as possible), manner (in as many ways as possible), and location (in as many places as possible).
Actions we’re taking

These achievements, along with many other initiatives, have enabled us to obtain Biosphere certification. This international label, awarded by the Responsible Tourism Institute and aligned with the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals, recognizes organizations that are committed to sustainable development in a concrete, measurable, and ongoing manner.
It recognizes our initiatives in environmental protection, social responsibility, and cultural promotion, while ensuring the transparency and credibility of our results.
